Assembly #1: LIFE = CHOICES
Brooks communicates the ultimate strategy to live your best life. Your students will learn:
- Life is a series of choices, and choices have consequences
- Your Past doesn't have to determine your future
- You can't always control your circumstance, but you can always control your response
- You must identify and develop your strengths, and stop crying over your weaknesses
- How to reposition yourself for the best opportunities
- Personal growth is your only hope
The school can request that Brooks highlight one of these negative life-traps: Drugs/Alcohol, Sex Before Marriage, Self Injury, or Dysfunctional Families.
Assembly #2: LOVE > HATE
Brooks communicates the ultimate strategy to end bullying on campus and online. Your students will learn:
- We are all bullies. We need to change how we interact with each other.
- Hate grows. It starts with a prejudice, then shows itself through discrimination, and finally acts out through intentional assault.
- Hurting people, hurt people.
- If you want to change your feelings about someone, change your thoughts and actions towards them first.
- Love has the power to transform an enemy into a friend.
- How to forgive the bully and move forward with confidence.

"Your words to our kids at the retreat were so helpful and hit us where we live. I am so grateful for your work with our students. Inviting you back is not IF, but WHEN! Thanks again."

-
Dani Smith, Counselor, Hughes Middle School, TX
"I have heard many positive comments from both students and staff. One of our teachers made the comment that she has heard many speakers, and she felt Brooks was the best. He was able to identify with our students, while also offering a serious message to them. I was impressed that he could hold the attention of 1,050 students for 45 minutes!"
